Oh, staaaaap! It was low-hanging cheesy pun fruit. You know I had to go there.

It’s remarkable how accurately these tins capture that perfectly pouty and disinterested Instagram face. I mean, it’s not easy to do that face. every time I try it, I end up looking like I ate a lemon…

Ha ha!

One of these things is not like the other…
Girls Gone Wow, Dolly darling and Girl-O-Clock rock are the remaining three of the six sets benefit is releasing for the holidays this year (here are the other three), and purr usual, they contain a combo of full-sized and miniature versions of products from the permanent line.

If you decide to keep the collectable tins to repurpose them, I suggest NOT setting them on the dresser directly across from your bed…because if you wake up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom and see a floating head staring at you in the dark, that would be utterly terrifying.

The $46 benefit girls Gone Wow set ($99 value)

Girls Gone Wow set ($46)

The girls Gone Wow set comes with a full-sized POREfessional face Primer, full-sized They’re real Mascara, full-sized Gimme Brow in in shade 3, and mini sizes of They’re real Mascara and Benetint.

Of everything, my favorite items in this one are Benetint (I’ve been using it for almost 20 years, and I still love it, particular as a cheek tint, but not so much as a lip tint because it fades unevenly) and Gimme Brow (to quickly fill in sparse spots with super strong hold).

I also like POREfessional primer because it’s similar to the Smashbox smoothing primer that I love.

POREfessional has a slippery silicone texture that folks seem to love or…not love. I love it because it makes my foundation and tinted moisturizer look 10,000% smoother.

As for the mascara and primer? Eh… I have friends who swear by They’re Real, but it doesn’t seem to hold the curl for me.

When it arrives September 30, the girls Gone Wow set will be exclusive to Macy’s and benefitcosmetics.com.

The $39 benefit Dolly darling set ($91 value)

Dolly darling set ($39)
With the Dolly darling set, you get three full-sized items, including a tube of POREfessional face Primer, a tube of Roller Lash Mascara and a box of Hoola Bronzer.

Dolly also comes with minis of Benetint and Gimme Brow in shade 3.

Hoola Bronzer = YAAAS, QUEEN. I’ve used Hoola for years. Talk about old-school faves… I hope this matte bronzing powder never goes away because it’s easy to blend, and I like that it isn’t excessively orange.

It also works great on eyes in the crease as a transition color. Hands-down, it’s one of my all-time benefit faves.

This set also comes with Roller Lash Mascara, which I wanted to give me all the feels, but alas, it doesn’t.

Again, it just doesn’t hold a lash curl.

Seriously, what the heck is going on with my lashes and lash curls? I need lash cement…

If you’re trying to decide between getting this set and girls Gone Wow, I’d go with Dolly darling because it comes with a full-sized Hoola, which is always useful.

The Dolly darling set also arrives September 30, except that it’ll be available exclusively at Ulta and the benefit website.

The $45 benefit girl O’Clock rock set ($86 value)

Girl O’Clock rock ($45)
Benefit has done advent makeup calendars for the past few years, and girl O’Clock rock is this year’s version (it plays a song when you open it!).

There’s a different mini behind each of the 12 numbers in the calendar. You get a 0.1-oz. POREfessional, a 0.1-oz. They’re real Mascara, a 0.08-oz. Benetint, a 0.08-oz. Posietint, a 0.25-oz. They’re real Remover, a 0.1-oz. It’s Potent Eye Cream, a 0.22-oz. Lollibalm, a 0.1-oz. Hoola, 0.1-oz. Dandelion, a 0.14-oz. Badgal Lash, a 0.08-oz. High Beam and a 0.08-oz. Lollitint.

I like the variety you get with this set because you can try so many different things, but the minis are very small…

Super cute, but I feel like the minis should be bigger for almost $50.
